My youngest son who love to curb shop and find garage sale items for me come home bearing this rocker a few weeks ago. It was weathered gray from sitting on someone's porch and wasn't very appealing. It looked to me like a rocker for Granny to sit and rock in on the porch while she shelled peas. So what better color to paint her than Granny Apple Green.
Hot pink and Granny Apple Green frogs having a Frog Frolic what could be more fun. Would you like to come sit on the porch with me and try her out.

Oh I love that chair and I also love what you've done to it Stella. It looks really gorgeous. I wish I had a chair like that in my garden. We don't have porches here in England like those over there, mainly because we don't have the long summers that you have in America. Even so, we do have conservatories and the chair would look nice in one of those.
It is always so rewarding to do up something old and neglected and make it look new and inviting. You've certainly succeeded with this item.
I most certainly would Stella! What a delightful little spot you have put that rocking chair. I love the colour you have painted it, and the little cushion is so cute. The bright pink goes really well with it. Quite a find I would say by your son!
Forgot to say, I love the clematis photo that you have as your header at the moment.
I would love a little 'granny' rocking chair - you did an outstanding job Stella - will it go in one of your stores? sandie
