The weather was really chilly in the morning the last time we went to the lake so I decided to spruce up my covered porch a little. I had some red and black spray paint. Some material I found while cruising a thrift store in a heavy red linen and red and green upholstery fabric.
I found three of these folding chairs at an antique mall in Bolivar. They were marked 3 for $25 but just as I was deciding if they would work a lady comes by and asked if I was interested in them. So I got all three for $15. They are pretty shabby maybe more than I like. Should I paint them?
Found an old bench that my SIL made me one year that had been sitting on the back porch. It was green, peeling, and bare and not so attractive anymore.
I had been saving a wrought iron corner stand that I found on the curb. I knew it would work somewhere someday.

Stella, I gotta tell you that I think the blog looks great. Now, on to the changes...vavavavoom! Fabulous! I would not paint the chairs. They seem to go with the style very well. The flowers painting...I love it. I think that you did a fabulous job with everything, honest. Congratulations.
Stella..my husband was in the military for 20 years..and I remember ironing those uniforms well. :)
That black wicker chair redo is fantastic! Wow..so much to look at..I have to go back and do the double take thing! Things like that inspire me...I love it!

Great job with a little paint! I am not so good at that stuff and paint is not my friend.
Another talented woman! Man I missed the boat somewhere.
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I agree - Christa lived a short life, but a full one.
And you are not going to believe this - I redid my blog tonight and added music. I added the same exact song as you and I hadn't even come to visit your blog yet.
Because We Believe - awesome song.
Looks like you had a busy day ... it's amazing what a lick of paint will do to spruce things up! Everything looks like new again.
Hugs,
Sandi

Thanks for visiting me and your sweet comments about my roosters. I love your porch furniture. sometimes all it takes is some sprucing up to make it feel "new" and fresh. It looks really great now.
