Visitors

With the heavy snow on the ground we have had many visitors looking for something to eat. This young squirrel perches on a wrens house waiting for his turn.

This large red-headed woodpecker tried desperately to hoard both suet feeders but finally gave in and let the starling eat from one.
I always enjoy all the critters that congregate outside my living room as I sit and enjoy my morning coffee. What a pleasant way to start my day.

Stella -- those pictures are charming! And I would think almost make it worth spending a Winter in your cold climate. It's definitely the time to reflect and enjoy these small treasures. I wish I could take such good bird pictures.

I love watching wildlife through our dining room window. We have quite a lot of woodpeckers in our area as well. Once and awhile we will hear a commotion at the feeders to find a large red~tailed hawk seeking its prey. I know they have to eat too, but it's not something I want on my front yard!

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

I like to watch the critters outside, too!

I love your sled and skates. What a perfect winter decoration.

Lovely photos! You are so lucky to have so many species of birds around you!
Lately we have a ton of green parrots in our neighborhood, and of course we've always had the sparrows, but it's rare if we see anything else!

I have something for you on my Sunday (1/17) post if you get a chance to stop by.
All the best,
Eileen
