Welcome Spring!

The calendar says it's spring.

What could speak spring more poignantly than spotting my first garage sale sign. We had a high in the 70's yesterday. Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Spring is here.

Well. Not quite! This is the view from my kitchen window this morning with more to follow through the night. I know you shouldn't envy. But to those of you with flowers in bloom and sweet spring breezes I do feel just a little bit of why not me.
Happy First Day of Spring!

What a shock eh!!! One day glorious the next.... not!!!
In answer to your comment regarding Wal-mart and Tesco. We have a supermarket here called Asda which is part of the Wal-mart family!! When I was in Super Target in Florida I saw Cherokee brand clothes, and that is Tesco own brand!! So maybe they are related, I'm not sure though!!!

Hi Stella ... we are just coming into Autumn downunder and we are having some strong contrasts in the weather too.
This week has been beautiful but the week before we had storms like we hadn't had in a 100 years.
Today is dim and overcast ... not to good a day for the family BBQ we had planned ... but who knows what tomorrow will bring!
Hope you can get out into your garden and enjoy some spring blooms soon.
Warmest hugs,
Sandi @ Bearly Sane

It may snow here tomorrow, and here I've planted so many pretties. Very uncustomary weather here.

Do I have this correct - it was 70 one day and snow the next - with more coming?

That is almost unbelieveable!

Hi Stella,
We had sun here today but who knows what the rest of March will bring on the Island? We have enjoyed such a warm and lovely month; the nicest on record, apparently. I'm thankful, I can tell you that much!
Your snow too shall soon be gone! A couple of weeks and I'm sure you will see quite a difference. Happy Spring to you.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Stella. So nice to meet you and thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Yikes! I can't imagine it being so cold and snowy still. We are having cool winds with dust that have lasted the past several days. Honestly, it's about as bad and makes me feel blah! Crazy weather everywhere .. but this too shall pass. I read your previous post. Yes, blogging can take time ... of course, it's your choice how much time you put into it. Sometimes I get sucked in for hours and my kids are begging me to let them have the computer. HA! I figure it is like reading magazines or reading. No different! Everyone is different. There are those who post but never visit anyone. I couldn't do that. I like to go out there and say howdy. So many nice folks, lots of creativity and inspiration. I do hope you will stick with it. I don't do giveaways because mail from this side of the world is quite iffy. Besides people should want to visit you for YOU! Not for what you can give them. Right??!! Okay, so that's my two cents. I hope you are having a warm and wonderful weekend. Many blessings, Tammy PS I'll be back often :)

Happy Spring -- it will be there in reality very soon I'm sure.

We had wind and deluge of rain here in the subtropics again today! It's never exactly a typical spring here (for this Northwesterner) but I thought today was way way too different!
