It's storming here today. The thunder has sent my dogs to seek the comfort of their beds. I, however , like storms. As I was doing dishes I paused to gaze out my kitchen window and admire what a lovely picture my rain chain made surrounded by all the flower.
If you have never seen rain chains they are used in place of your downspout. I do so enjoy watching the water cascade down the chain.
And splash into the copper basin at the base.
Rain chains can be found on the Internet in many places. I have never seen them in the garden stores I frequent but they may have them. I have my heart set on another one that has tulip shaped cups that spill into each other. Mother's Day is coming so I dream.
Do any of you have a rain chain you enjoy?

Stella -- beautiful. Why didn't I have one of those when we lived in rainy Oregon? I wonder if it would be as lovely here -- when we get rain in Florida it is a gushing downpour.
I have never heard of a rain chain...am going to check them out. Your flowers look beautiful. I adore how healthy the leaves of your rose bush in the header are so perfectly green.
Well you learn something every day! I does look rather beautiful Stella.

How cool is that? I've never heard of them and am so glad you shared yours with us. The rain and thunder was so nice today.
They have the rain chains in the garden stores here, probably because it is Oregon You know our reputation for rain. I just love them. They make such a beautiful sound. Hmmm perhaps I could ask for this for Mother's Day ...good idea!
