So I stacked all the furniture and rolled all the rugs.
I pulled the trusty power washer out of storage.
And I washed away all the old paint and winter grunge.
Now all I have to do is re stain the deck and put everything in it's place again.
Meanwhile all the trees and shrubs have burst forth in all their glory.

Can't wait to have my cup of coffee outside soon.
Meanwhile all the trees and shrubs have burst forth in all their glory.

Your yard is gorgeous! I have the redbuds and lilacs too. But I don't have a dogwood. I want one ... Or else I'll have to drive down to Arkansas every spring.
I love all your pictures of spring. I'm still waiting....
Hope your foot is healing well.
Oh my gosh - the scenery is just beautiful there! Love your back yard.
And you put me to shame - your pressuer wash and you stain it all by yourslef? Impressive.
Enjoy your coffee.

Beautiful surroundings! And isn't wonderful having an outdoor porch? Lots of work to get it all set up for the season, but well worth it! I love having my morning coffee outside too!
Great post!
Great inspiration!
All the best,
Eileen
Hi, Stella,
I'm listening to Frank sing as I view your post. Now I know where the name of your blog came from, and I have never heard that song before.
Spring is beautiful. You have a lovely deck to enjoy it on. I gotta power wash my driveway, too. :)

Wonderful Spring pictures. All the work would be worth it to enjoy coffee on that deck with those flowers. Thanks for sharing.

No there is nothing a grandmother won’t do – I’m sorry she is gone. She died at 75 – way to young.
Yes, they do still make Cabbage Patch Dolls – and when you adopt them now – they have little holding rooms for you to get acquainted and see if the adoption is a good match. Can you believe it?
It was just 15 minutes from Helen.
Wish I had your email. Mine is skcz@comcast.net
PS How is your foot now?
Is there no end to the list of chores that go along with home ownership and gardening?
The flowering trees and bushes....very pretty.

Hi Stella, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment. Our redbud and trees are all starting to bloom too, just hope the last couple days of winter don't knock off all the blossoms!
Your deck is beautiful, can't wait to whip mine into shape soon too.

Hi Stella, as usual your photos are gorgeous. I had never even heard of a rain chain. Wouldn't it be lovely to have an entire "wall" of rain chains? Your fountains are lovely. I think they're fabulous. I had a really nice one for several years, but it went kapoot last year and now I'm fountainless...lol One of these days I'll get another one. I really like the sound of running water in the backyard. I also liked seeing the birds bathe and drink water in it.
