Back Porch Continued

It was so sweet of Rachel at A Romantic Porch to feature my back porch on her blog. Thank you Rachel! Since you came to visit please come see some more of my porch. A little wren is singing her heart out at the top of a tree. She is so friendly she comes and sits on the porch rail and serenades us.

Please have a seat at the table. This is the one we use when we have
friends over.

Let me get the cushions out of the old truck I use to store the cushion in so they are out of the weather
I have lemonade ready on the old tea cart. Would you like lots of ice as it is so warm today.

My Blue Heron is on guard protecting my goldfish from others in his family. His name is Harry and I know he is glad you came.

He is a staunch warrior remaining vigilant even after the sun sets.

For company Harry has a little Angel friend named Grace. She holds a little flower from which flows a soft trickle of water that the birds enjoy drinking from.

The water from Grace's flower flows in to two barrels that eventually fall into the goldfish pond. Isn't it nice to listen to the trickle of the fountain. Just makes your cares disappear. Now that you have finished your lemonade come and sit on the glider and listen to the waterfall, the birds singing and the soft scent of roses that wafts on the breeze. Sit as long as you like you are always welcome here. Thank you for visiting. I love company.
